Out of the Pit: AZOOMA Meets Jazz

Arizona Orchestra Musicians Association (AZOOMA) and Sacred Grounds Jazz Coffeehouse present “Out of the Pit: AZOOMA Meets Jazz.”

This unique evening begins with Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue performed by pianist Larry Loeber with musicians from the Arizona Opera Orchestra – plus Fred Marderness, percussion. This event is part of the AZOOMA “Out of the Pit” concert series, which provides the opportunity for the public to hear members of the Arizona Opera’s very own orchestra, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in this the Arizona Opera’s 39th season.

Larry Loeber is the traditional service music director at SCUCC and along with Fred Marderness, performs regularly with The Phoenix Symphony. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Youth Summer Camps Scholarship Fund of the Ocotillo Center for Creativity at SCUCC.
