The New AZOOMA site

The AZOOMA site has undergone some big changes recently. In our case, change was not only good, it was necessary.

What is AZOOMA?

Put simply we are the musicians behind the operatic curtain – the orchestra under the stage. The Arizona Opera Orchestra Musicians Association.

AZOOMA is the orchestral music behind the critically-acclaimed productions at Arizona Opera.

Why did you update your web site?

This new web site redesign is a major step forward for AZOOMA. The list of upgrades and new features is very long – here are just a few:

• Content Management System
  AZOOMA now has a very user-friendly way for multiple authors to create and build content. It also allows for a cleaner look and a navigation system that is easier to understand.

• Better SEO and RSS
  Our new platform allows for improved performance with search engines and Web 2.0 in general.

• Quick Links
  Its like a little hidden Easter Egg. Click on the link at top and see.

• Better comments
  We are always looking for your opinions. Our new platform supports an open discussion under each post.

• More real estate
  The site is 30% wider in order to give us more elbow room and your eyes more space.

What are your goals with this web site?

This new site is better in-tune with the AZOOMA mission, which among other things, states that our main purpose is to reach out to our local communities in Phoenix and Tucson.

The site has been streamlined in a number of ways. We hope to roll ahead with this and generate a new cycle of more consistent content and better coverage of our musician’s activities and other events related to Arizona Opera.
